JevBot by Legety

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 20, 2026

These terms govern your use of the JevBot by Legety website, Chrome extension, and hosted gateway at https://jevbot.legety.com (the “Service”), provided by Legety, registered in Georgia(“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, installing the extension, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The jev_ultrafast engine is separately available as open-source software under the MIT License in its source repository; running it yourself, on your own infrastructure and your own API keys, is governed by that license, not by these terms. These terms apply once you use the extension against our hosted gateway, sign in, or pay us.

1. What the Service does

The Service lets you give a browser agent a natural-language goal, and it chooses and executes actions (clicking, typing, selecting, scrolling) on the page you point it at, on your behalf and in your browser session. It is a tool, not an unattended service: you remain responsible for what you ask it to do and for supervising the result.

2. Accounts

An account requires a valid email address, which we use for passwordless sign-in and for billing and service notices. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@legety.com if you believe your account or extension pairing has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of this section, with notice where practical.

4. Plans, credits, and billing

5. Your responsibility for what the agent does

The agent acts on pages using your browser session, at your direction, and can only do what the operations described in the product (click, type, select, scroll, wait) allow. You are responsible for:

The Service is provided for legitimate personal and business browser automation. It is not intended, and must not be used, to defraud, to manipulate platforms in violation of their terms, or to cause harm to any third party or system.

6. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service, including the website, the extension, and the hosted gateway (excluding the open-source engine, which remains available under its own MIT License). We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service under these terms. You retain ownership of the goals, prompts, and content you submit; you grant us the limited right to process them as needed to run your request through the model providers described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party sites and model providers

The Service interacts with websites and AI model providers we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party sites the agent operates on, or for the outputs of third-party models. Those sites' and providers' own terms and policies apply to your use of them.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE AGENT WILL CORRECTLY INTERPRET ANY GOAL, THAT ITS ACTIONS WILL ACHIEVE THE INTENDED OUTCOME, OR THAT A “DONE” RESULT IS ACCURATE — INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION OF ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OUTCOME IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEGETY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY ACTION THE AGENT TAKES AT YOUR DIRECTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $100 IF YOU PAID US NOTHING.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Legety harmless from any claim arising from your use of the Service in violation of these terms, applicable law, or a third party's rights — including any claim arising from actions the agent took on a site at your direction.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or to protect the Service or other users, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (billing owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; we will update the date above and, for material changes, make reasonable efforts to notify account holders by email. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these terms — other than one subject to Paddle's own buyer terms — will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Georgia, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
